We understand that volunteering is a two-way process and we are committed to providing the confidence boosting, moral support, mentoring skills and relevant training in order to offer our volunteers a rewarding volunteering experience.

As a result, we have several volunteering roles at The N Factor:-

... Or you can take part in youth club leisure and sports activities as a Youth Club supervisor.

For all roles you get training, individual mentoring and support from our fully qualified founder and CEO Maria Angel, as well as enjoy invitations to social events and parties.

Case Studies

The N Factor has not only done much to encourage its members to gain the benefit of engaging in a rural, community-led youth project, but has also encouraged its supervisors to reap the benefits of volunteering.

It has not only seen Deb King, one of its dedicated supervisors of two years receive the Mayor's Services to the Community Award in 2010, but we have proudly seen Deb advance in her own teaching career at her local primary school and take the initiative to develop the school choir, that now enjoys its own award winning success.

We are proud to say, it has also seen another of our earlier supervisors Anna Redmond, take her drama workshop experience at the youth club, along with a glowing reference from us and after much hard work on her part, acquire her teacher training qualification and is now successfully working as an English and Drama teacher in Surrey.

We were delighted that Josh King and Ryan Weatheritt were able to make a positive contribution to the development to our youth club through the 'Take Part Take Power' initiative run by Surrey County Council through their Surrey Youth Opportunity Fund and Youth Capital Fund, for more youth club facilities and activities for our members to enjoy.

It has also seen Alex Young, a 14 year old youth helper complete his 3 month community volunteering experience for his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2012.

For members and supervisors alike, here at The N Factor, everyone's a winner!
