The N Factor recieves a High Sheriff Youth Award for the second year running 'to recognise the valuable and imaginative work' of the club. This is excellent news in that we have been given the stamp of approval by our leading county dignatories and that we now have grant money that will allow us to continue in the foreseeable future. With grateful thanks to Lady Toulson, High Sheriff of Surrey, John Walshe DL and Pamela Hypher and her office in arranging our award.

Maria sees her visit to 10 Downing Street for a Breakfast Reception to meet the Prime Minister and his wife, as a good way of raising the awareness of The N Factor, its positive effects in reducing boredom-related youth crime, attributing to community cohesion due to the club being in a piece of 'No-Man's Land' that leaves segregation and prejudice behind and at last puts Normandy 'on the map'.
